Search Range Technology and buy one to their units. Plugs into your on board port and keeps the engine from going into V-4 mode...that's what is causing the shudder....the engine switching back and forth between V-4 and V-8. It will fix the problem, and you won't notice hardly any difference in your gas mileage.

I have a 17 6.2 Silverado. Exact same thing you mentioned. Dealer told me to bring it in and they would change my fluid. I wouldn't have believed it if it wasn't my truck. It did it maybe once very lightly about a week later and perfect since. truck has 60k+ on it now and had the fluid done 20k miles or so ago.
I'm still shocked it worked. I was hoping for a new tranny lol

I bought a 18 Silverado LTZ with the 6.2L and 8speed and have the Range AFM disabler. Best purchase I ever made. It did eliminate the occasional shudder I had transitioning from V4 to V8 mode.

Interesting, I had forgotten the range works for the trans shudder.

My Pontiac aztek does the same GD thing. will this range works thing work?. ranger method did nothing.
