Yes it will. I had the flush done and it lasted for about 5000 miles. The Range is everything it says it is...no more shudder.

Plug the Range into the headlight socket. Best results that way.

Yes...you have to understand what the issue is...it's the transmission and the torque converter working constantly back and forth going from V4 to V8 mode. The trans flush just creates a temporary fix, and pretty much masks the shudder. The Range unit stops the whole process and keeps you in V8 mode all the time. No shudder.

The fix is a new toque converter I have read. So I called chevy this morning and they said they have heard of it too and chevy wants them to try a new fluid first to see if it fixes the problem. I said can I wait and he says no it will be two days. I said two days does it take a while for the fluid to drain or something and he said no we are just really swamped.

So now I have I have to go without my new truck for 2 days. Have any of ya'll heard this new fluid fix works? It reminds of the stupid info screen on the c7 where they kept flashing it until I bitched so much that they finally replaced it. I mean I have heard this happening all the way back to the 14 why wouldn't chevy fix the problem before now. Thank God I have some warranty left.

It fixed mine..2017 Canyon started the shudder at 22k got the new fluid, no shutter since. almost 2500 miles...They have adapters and fitting to allow a force flush of the transmission...

Would it be too much to ask GM to fix the problem correctly? Asking for a friend

One note...make sure you unplug the unit if you have to take it in for service. The GM service dept. would probably love to have a reason to deny your warranty.....

Are you being facetious or sarcastic? I need to know so I know whether it's funny or not.
