Default So will this new transmission fluid really fix my new truck?

I swear sometimes i wonder about these car manufactures and their testing before they release something. Anyway I have a "shudder" I guess at 70 to 80 miles per hour. It almost feels like I am going over rumble strips. Every 2 to 3 seconds I feel it again in the steering wheel and the floor board. Looked online and it's a common problem with the A8. The fix is a new toque converter I have read. So I called chevy this morning and they said they have heard of it too and chevy wants them to try a new fluid first to see if it fixes the problem. I said can I wait and he says no it will be two days. I said two days does it take a while for the fluid to drain or something and he said no we are just really swamped.

So now I have I have to go without my new truck for 2 days. Have any of ya'll heard this new fluid fix works? It reminds of the stupid info screen on the c7 where they kept flashing it until I bitched so much that they finally replaced it. I mean I have heard this happening all the way back to the 14 why wouldn't chevy fix the problem before now. Thank God I have some warranty left.

I have heard "off the record" that manufacturers are doing weird things with fluids to help reduce drag. For example using a lighter weight oil as factory fill. By reducing drag like this, it gives them small increases in efficiency, which contributes to meeting CAFE requirements. I have also heard that they "unofficially" recommend changing oil weights after the first change to something better suited to the application. Of course, I only heard this from a friend who is a factory certified mechanic at a local GM dealer. It could be hooey.

It better not be. I really like it so far. It's so plush heck it's even got a heated steering wheel. And now with my front and rear impact sensors I don't hit **** anymore. I tried another beside shitty autonation and they said they will change out fluid tomorrow. She said it fixing the problem 95% of the time. My luck I will be the 5%
