No.

I'd rather not say. Somewhat personal. I'll just say part 2 and part 3 will suck. Part 4 shouldn't be too bad.

Part 2 and 3 in a few weeks...

Seriously.

Between this, and the house thing.

Wah wah wah. Grow the f#+k up already.

It's called fight the insurance company billing, drag it out, learn the game. Or, get all kinds of doc signoff and pre-approval from primary before going thru a procedure. What kind of pamphlet did you get for crying out loud, a walk-in tub brochure?

Sheesh...

First you don't pay the hospital. You
ask for detailed receipts for everything. And I mean everything, down to the surgical tape used to apply bandages. You claim hardship. You ask for financial aid assistance from both the hospital as well as insurance company. You write to the state insurance regulator cc'ing the insurance company as well as the hospital administrator providing detailed records of all conversations, documents, approvals, forms, etc.

Presume you work and are under an employer plan. You get the company insurance administrator involved as well.

That's just for starters. The fun starts when they first respond back and say no you owe money.

Disputing a claim that was denied happens all the time, google the forms and procedures necessary....

I had to do that earlier this year with a blood test that got denied. My doctor ordered it, I gave 4 vials and presumed it was covered in house with my HC plan.....
Two months later they send me a bill for $ 760.00 saying it is not covered......

I called my doctor and had another appointment for the following week and he said they took care of everything.....

Challenge the billing.....

How do I submit an Aetna claim online?
How to submit a claim online
  1. Click "Claims Center," then "Submit claims"
  2. Complete your claim online.
  3. Copy, scan and upload your supporting documents, including itemized bills, original receipts.
  4. Click "submit claim" to complete the process.

Aetna locally uses reps for each account. go to your hr person and find out who the rep is. contact that rep and discuss your concerns and ask for a review of the decision, or if you must, they have offices in blue bell. be advised their offices are lightly staffed, most reps work from home. with the summer season starting this weekend, many will be working from their beach houses starting next week.

I'd like to see this pamphlet that says they pay 90/10 out of network.

I'm sure he will post it shortly.
