Wish I could turn the clock back and be in my 20's or 30's at the Monterey Pop Festival in June 1967. A lot of historical performances at that venue (and a lot of artists who have been long deceased). I missed so much (since I was a kid at that time).

Would be nice to have serious **** you money. Oh the fun that could be had, and the charity that could be given.

My first trip to the states in 1978 aged 21.
Massive music festival at Atlanta stadium (falcons?) dooobie bros Atlanta Rhythm section etc.
On to Daytona beach. What a whale of a time with the girls for a 21 year old English accent lad 👍😂

Times were hard in the U.K. then and I had saved for ages for the trip and was only allowed to take £350 out of the country as spends
I also had a ‘cuda hire car.
Best of all a beautiful big us visa stamp in my first passport haha I still have it

I would love to see the 1950s in person. But I would first memorize a few key stock charts beforehand. Nothing could be better than knowing tomorrows stock prices today...

Not surprising to see many of the replies related to car eras. . I wouldn't mind going back to a time when cars were just starting to hit the streets. I guess it was similar to how electric cars are slowly working their way into the population. The difference is people were going from horses to cars. A read a news story about some of the first cars in my area in the early 1900s. People would call it "the machine".

I would have liked to be 18 in 1948. No doubt. People say they think I lived back then. One guy insists I have a time machine and am right out of the forties.
