Thanks for helping me see that half hour "Keytruda" advert just so I could watch some dumbass that doesn't know how to merge resulting in a short non-dramatic outcome. Loved it!!

What a dumbass. I hope the driver is held 100% responsible for all damages, not an insurance company.

There are a lot of dumbasses like that.

They clearly expect to be able to come down the on-ramp at whatever speed they like and everyone else has to slow down and make a hole for them. If you follow the law and stand your ground they get pissed (or they run off into the weeds like in the video).

Surprised he did not eat the SD card out of his own camera to help hide that it was his fault, lol.

Driver was at fault in that one IMHO.

After he spins out you can see the rig had a red car on the left so it couldn't move over. The driver entering the highway should have accelerated enough to pass the rig or fell in behind it.

That said I dunno why people drive side-by-side at the same speed.

The kid obviously didnít have enough experience driving. That said the truck obviously had no where to go. This reminds me of the pet peeve of mine when people move from the left lane to the right while people are trying to merge. The smart thing to do is wait until past the on ramp and then move over. However common sense isnít common these days.

The kid was lucky that no one was injured. Hopefully a lesson was learned.

Things like this worry me about my daughter who got her permit last month. New drivers scare me!

This video is a great example of why getting a kid on a dirt bike or quad well before driving age, is a great idea. The kid in the video had like, forever, to avoid this accident, but was completely clueless about what to do. I don't know what he was thinking, but there's one law that supersedes all other traffic laws. Don't crash.

He wasn't - he was clearly all deer-in-the-headlights and unable to do anything but watch it happen.

Yeah that's exactly what it looked like to me.
Had he had some experience with any other motorized vehicle, at all, he wouldn't have seized up like that.
All he had to do was hit the brakes.

If I were the driver of the red car I would have slowed down or sped up to allow the truck to move into the left lane to yield to the dumb *** driver. I see this happen all the time. You've GOT to keep a constant lookout even on boring miles of expressway. People yappin' on their phones, texting, eating, etc. Surprised there are not more accidents.

Yep...and don't drive side by side for miles...that's an accident waiting to happen.

Given that we only see the red car very briefly, they very well could be passing.
