I've gotta say it's refreshing to see a forum full of folks that at one time or another, bought GMs flagship sportscar, but never broke any laws in it.

As the other light turned yellow, I got on the throttle and took it to 400. I took a little air out of the rear air bags and launched hard. As I shifted into second and sidestepped the clutch, we were neck and neck. She got rubber In all four gears, I suspect she had a competition clutch and lake bars. I am almost certain that by the time she got into top gear she was hitting 140. I tried like hell to beat her, but lost. Cops were following, we both got pulled over, but they only gave the loser, me, a ticket. She got off scott free.
if this is a true story she did something later to get Scott off.

Pay attention. The question isn't whether you've broken a law, or done something stupid, it's whether you've been caught or busted for it. Tiny difference there. Bill seems to attract the attention of law enforcement more than others. They must be out to get him cuz it can't be due to how he drives.

Once, in high school. It was in my first Trans Am, a '79 that had pretty much no power but sure was cool to me. A friend bet me my car couldn't do a donut. On the third loop, I saw blue lights through the smoke. Ticket was $28 and my insurance skyrocketed, but I won a dollar.

No never busted for that as I seen no point in a burn out. I'd spin the tires a little but after a good rain, not much and always kept the tc on.
