Yup, I've had tickets, including one in my C7 a few years ago. Was speeding on the interstate in the middle of nowhere, not doing burnouts in the middle of town.

Burnouts on NO2 in a Prowler to impress poor people waiting for a bus. If I believed the story, that would be hilarious, but I don't.

There was a ***** cop that has busted me a couple times setting at a picnic table with his family at the local ice cream shop and I went past him about 50mph and laid a big patch. Im guessing he was mad as hell. Never busted for exhibition of acceleration though.

To this day, I notice the radar detector go's off when I leave a stop sigh. Can't see LEO's but they want to see the take off speed. Very smooth way to use radar.....

No exhibition of speed but I have been stopped for speeding, drag racing etc.. Raced a friend away from a set of lights many years ago I beat him then slowed down to talk awhile we waited for the next light to change. A cruiser blew by me then blocked the road. The first thing he said was "You're supposed to look behind you before you do that!". He was the car behind me when we took off. I got a ticket for speeding. He let the other guy go because he said hadn't seen him out there before (local cruising area). Another time I was cited for drag racing in the same area. It was about 2am and nobody around expect for the two cops parked in the shadows with their lights off.

Sure - racing in front of the judge's house many, many years ago. Got it more than once IIRC, having a 67 GTO in high school will cause that to happen, but those Chrysler boys just never learned.
