It's not the main transmission that's being damaged, it's the Torque Converter. Before I'd take a beating on a trade in, I'd invest in a fluid flush and change (I believe they flush it three times) and have a range device installed. The C7 guys with the A8 swear this makes all the difference in the performance of the A8.
I have an M7, but if I owned an A8, I'd go with the above flush and install a Range device.

and by "install" it's simply plugging the device into the OBD2 port.

I have a feeling Lars is not sleeping well, and won't until he trades that POS Colorado in for a new, gayer truck.

He should move in with UD then, that way they can lose sleep together. I am sure UD is losing sleep over something on the C 6.

Ya think moms basement is big enough?

Or they can take the trailer to the lake and show some NEW pics of UD grilling.

You've changed the oil only twice in 94000 miles? You really overdo it with maintenance!!

My son-in-law's father finally gave up on his '16 Silverado High Country after the third transmission started acting up on him. He traded it for a '19 Ram Laramie Laredo (like mine) and he absolutely loves it!

It really doesn't get any gayer than Nissan that is until Subaru makes a truck.

My brother just traded his three year old Colorado for whatever the Ford Version is (Ranger??). The difference in appearance is startling! I think Ford has a winner with that small truck.
