Marriott rocks

But, interestingly, Courtyards are designed to be quiet. They cater to adults and business travelers. Also Spring Hill and Fairfield are quiet.
The upscale Marriotts are usually loud...

If you dont like kids, do go to Residence or Town Place

I met the Marriott VP of finance at my Aunt's funeral. She is the daughter of my Aunt's brother.

Nice Lady.

She retired 2 years ago but still does some work for Marriott.

Other than hotels and airports, there's nothing to it.

Very pleased with Marriott for many years as a Platinum / Lifetime Titanium Elite members. Their reservation phone staff is usually excellent. Also, a diamond Hilton member - usually find tad lower than Marriott, including hospitality areas. If I get good service when checking into a hotel, or even car rental, I do give them a gratuity for their services.

Know can be frustrating if first level kind of reads from a script. If issue I ask for supervisor to avoid first level response. Good you eventually got it taken care of.

Your aunts brother could be your father so that would make her your sister. Or your aunts brother could be your uncle which would make her your cousin. Dude! get your family tree in order!

Call the Marriott executive team. If we don't get a response from the regular CS it is just never ending. Most large companies have an executive CS team for those people irritated enough to call the CEO directly. If you call Marriott's world headquarters and ask to talk to the CEO about a problem you will get directed to them.

Don’t recall ever staying at a Marriott but based on the comments in this thread, may look at them the next time we take a trip. A lot of times we find a Navy Lodge or other military facility and stay there. Never had a bad experience there.

The old retired 65+ group really need a whole hotel business just for them. They can meet up at 3pm have dinner and talk about lawns and how screwed up the young'ns are today. You can spot them by their baby blue shorts up to their necks and dress socks up to their knees. Place goes dead by 8pm but watch out at 4am, because they are out looking for their free senior coffee

I'm lifetime Titanium Elite with Marriott; Lifetime Diamond with Hilton; and Lifetime Diamond wit Delta Airlines. I have traveled extensively for almost 40 years. Once you reach the elite levels, the customer service almost always goes above and beyond. Glad Marriott did you guys a solid.
