Fascinated by the PBS "American Experience" treatment. All manner of detail and archival footage you'd not see elsewhere. All those old cars, old houses, old fashions - stuff I grew up with.
The Apollo 1 fire which killed three men is absolutely chilling no matter how many times you've seen/heard it.

Its sad that JFK did not live to see his hopes come true.

It pisses ,me off that that some of the world's greatest leaders and men were taken taken out (Lincoln, JFK, RFK, MLK) while some of the world's biggest cruelest ******** were left alone?

Its amazing how these guys just relied on the math back then to get them to their destination and back
Its crazy ****. That's how reliable math is . But the consequences of a premature or bad burn coming around the moon is

I didnt know they relied on a a woman engineer to get them back. She wasnt bad looking either. Very impressive. Its clear that
they thought much more of her than just a hot mini skirt

Frank Borman's wife was a nervous wreck. I wonder how many packs a day she went through?

A Hollywood propaganda movie with little to no factual information and fabricated racism.

It is very thorough. I've seen a lot of this footage before, just not all together. We recorded it and I'm watching right now.

PBS American Experience
The footage they found and restored was excellent. I laughed when the Saturn 5 prototype capsule fell off the truck.
I didn't know they had 2 crashes of lunar module trainers, with Armstrong piloting one of them.
