I do. I just got a C6Z and have an 05 GTO with a Magnuson supercharger on it.
It is a very easy car to drive on a daily basis and the power is there. It is very comfortable/quiet on the road and the interior is of much higher quality than the Z.

WOW...nice pics...I had an Avalanche for my daily driver and balked when gasoline went over $3.00 a gallon...filling the tank and seeing over $100 on the meter told me to jump...and I found I am not really a truck guy...still like the Avalanches but...admittedly now a knee jerk reaction...I bought a Mazda 6s hatchback...my first non-GM car (I know you'll find this hard to believe but I was jacked around by a few GM dealers and let my nose get out of joint... )...the Mazda 6 has been perfect except for what I would call average gas mileage...I do mostly city driving and don't put a lot of miles a year on my cars...mileage is not really a concern but I let it become one...I am over that now...I am 6'6" tall and all leg so I am pretty much fine in the Mazda once I get in but it is a bit cramped...I really should look for a bigger car as I test drove a short bed Silverado (standard cab) and found I coldn't get the seat set up right for comfort...I just found I prefer the V8 and have always liked the sporty cars just that I don't fit in many of them...no family so room is not a big deal besides me and the GF...but I need enough room for picking up stuff since this would be my everyday driver...I wish I could wait for the Pontiac G8 (four door GTO-Holden Commodore) but the prices on the GTO are really nice for what you get and I have always liked the looks...somewhat of a sleeper...
Thanks,
Bill

I didn't have both at the same time, but now have the GTO after the Vette. I got the goat with the intention of using it as a DD, but started putting TOO many miles on it. I wanted to try to keep it nice for a few years, so now I'm back to it being a garage queen. One word of advice, if you're planning to drive a GTO through the IL winter - BLIZZAKS. Snow can be done with the GTO, but the stockers suck in it.

Bill, you should fit fine, there is plenty of leg room and the seats are soo comfy. I am sure you will fall in love with it and the price tag.

thanks...I made it out and had to go to a couple of dealers...I fit... ...the seats are VERY comfortable and the car seems a level up from what I am used to with GM...very nice as well...didn't really listen to the stereo...this one had the 18" and Summer only tires...a little slick in the rain but...I like the look of the 18" better overall...if I get one it will be my everyday so...I will need to get some spare wheels and Blizzaks or somesuch for the Winter months...sweet car...NICE sound from the pipes, even stock!...
Thanks all...anything more anyone wants to share???

...bought mine last night...went to 4 dealerships...NO one wanted to deal in the $26999 range so many told me I could easily get to (or better) so I don't know...maybe only in Chicagoland...I picked up a new 2006 A4 in Quicksilver with the Red Hot interior and the Pontiac Sport Appearance Package with Magnaflow Mufflers...this is a nice driver and the LS2 is sweet...you sit much more upright than in my C5 Vette...sold the Mazda 6 (nice car, just too small for me) and the GTO is MUCH more roomy than the Mazda too...I no longer have the versatility of the sweet hatchback BUT I can console myself with 400/400... ...thanks for the help!

One of you guys should by my GTO so I can get a Z06. It's an 04, Silver/black, 6 speed, 22,700 miles on it. Has LS6 heads/cam, JBA shorty headers, LPE CAI, dyne tuned (356 rwhp), new tires, new Optima, tinted windows, upgraded speakers. All this for $18,500 (firm).

You're going to enjoy it. It's a great DD.

I sure don't know if I would keep mine over that 69 Camaro though - that thing is sweet!

GTO is my daily driver......drive it over 100 miles every day. And it is NOT stock

Just got rid of the vette......but I had both for almost a year together.

If I nail one of the new jobs I've been applying for, I'll definitely get in touch with you.
I've been drooling over the interiors of those cars since they came out.

My wife just bought a new '07 C6 for her daily driver.

My DD is an 05 GTO with about 10k in mods (exhaust, brakes, suspension).

I like her Vette, but enjoy driving my Goat so much that I'm only a little jealous.

regards, billb....
