100,000 on my Camry

Melting Slicks
I went 247k in my 94 Taurus SHO, not sure that counts since it had a Yamaha motor in it, but that car still ran tight and strong and didn't burn a drop of oil when I sold it. My business Ford Windstar has 177K and still runs great. Never did a lick of maintenance other than oil changes until 170K. Then we had to change the plugs and wires.

'85 Hyundai Pony 240,000km (150,000 miles) RIP
'87 Porsche 928S4 300,000km (187,500 miles) Stored Indoors now
'90 Cavalier Z24 400,000km (250,000 miles) RIP
'97 Z28 Camaro just turned 164,000km (102,500 miles and going strong)
'91 Trans-Am GTA 263,000km (164,500 miles) For Sale
'03 Durango SLT Plus (It's RT in Canada) 74,000km (46,250 miles and going strong)
No accidents on either of them. Mostly wear and tear, tires, brakes, plugs, fluids, etc.
Unless a car comes off the line defective, there's no reason why a car can't last you forever providing it's taken care of with regular maintenance and some preventative maintenance.
The Fiero was a car ahead of it's time. Yes they had issues (really, what car doesn't) as GM rushed the release of that car to combat the popularity of the Toyota MR2 at that time. And I do believe that it was one of Pontiac's best sellers as well. By the time 1988 had rolled around, they got it right but it was too late. GM bean counters had predicted sales drop off's for the 2 seater and cancelled it for 1989 (The Fiero made profits for GM from '84 to '88 and even they agree it was a mistake to drop it. 20/20 hindsight)

my son has over 200,000 on his Camry; neighbor has over 300,000 on his, both daily drivers. both have gotten two timing belts each, several sets of tires, numerous oil changes, and that's about it..
