Help with 1991 Silverado A/C
I have a 1991 Chevy silverado stepside and it is a 5.7li 350 CI auto that has close to 200,000 miles. Tried the A/c yesterday and no cold air at all... All other funtions such as Hi, Medium, and Low speeds of the blower work, heater works too well, just no cold air. The display on the A/C controls blinks "A/C" when the truck is first started and again any time that the A/C button is pressed..... I have a charge/test kit from autozone and the gauge shows that the system has a full charge. What gives? Any ideas on what might be wrong or as to what i can check? By the way, new compressor installed two years ago and has worked great since then until now.
Thanks for any help,

If it is anything like my 92 silverado was, you may likely have a bad control console. Is it the digital push button controls to turn on your a/c heater and choose floow, defrost etc? If so, that's likely the cause. Not too aweful cheap either. I think I dropped like close to $200 replacing mine.
