Buy the Ford, buy the best, end of story! It's basically the most copied truck in the world. GM, Toyota, Nissan, all keep trying, but Ford has perfected the recipe. LOW END STUMP-PULLING TORQUE. I've ripped up hills at 75MPH with my '04 F-150 pulling a car trailer with '64 Galaxie, passing GM trucks pulling cars up the grade. Sure they have LOTS more HP
but they don't make 90% of their torque under 2K RPM. And, the Toyota, is playing the same game. Look at the dyno charts for each of your gas engine pickups, and find out where they make PEAK TORQUE, then you decide!

You'd think this forum would have an Off Topic or Other Cars section for it.....someone should PM an admin to request that.

guys all i wanted was to ask my boys on the forum what they thought, why is that such a big deal? You know what they say,if you dont like just ignore it.

By the way just looked at the 07 silverado very nice. Might have a winner. The tundra I ordered it 8 weeks ago and they think its gonna be another 8 weeks before i get it, or i just take what ever color they have

Why does home Depot have a Plumbing Section, lighting section, Floor section etc.. to keep things organized. That is why the forum has section to keep thing organized. If people just keep posting anything they want in C5 general the section becomes a mess and you will not be able to find this about the C5 in C5 General.

It's a simple concept read the sticky at the top of C5 general on how to post.

If you gotta turn a wrench on that tundra, how can it be such a great truck?

Congrats! I really agree it's the perfect tow vehicle for your C5 (and now the thread's a bit back toward Corvettes, too!)
