Might be better to try an online auction .
Nice car but it is 14 years old and you looking to get a newer Vette. Most Vette owners would not be interested in a import car.

Kelly blue book lists this as a private party value in excellent condition as being worth about 17000. It is highly unusual to recover the cost of mods when you sell a car. It does look like it has been well cared for, but I think you will be hard pressed to get mid 30's for it. I think that wackinwuss was trying to be nice with his advice. Out of curiosity how much cash would you be willing to offer for a trade into an 06 Z51 MN6 also in excellent shape with about 10K miles? Good luck.

The color, body kit, and mods really target the car to a much younger prospective buyer. Ebay or Auto trader will be your best bet.

KBB doesn't apply to these cars. A friend just sold his '94 with 8k miles sell for $51k. This Supra is going to be a tougher sell because of the non-factory color repaint, body kit, and mods. Stock supras in the stock color are the most sought after.

But the point remains the same--blue book does not apply. A friend just bought a black '97 6-speed sell for $28k. Low mileage or high mileage, if your spouting off blue book values you don't know the market for these cars.

This is a Corvette forum. It would take an act of god for someone to trade a C6 for a ricer, with heavy modications, 97k miles and the seller admitting he likes the C6 better. Just stating the facts. No insults intended, but the are no "Fast and Furious" fanboys here.

If what you say is true, I would strip the car, sell the parts on ebay, wreck it and sell the car on Turbo Toys. You'll come out ahead of the game, but dad's insurance will go up.
