Anyone With A Cadillac Cts-v Out There ?
Just purchased an 05 CTS-V for a daily driver and cant find a forum even close to this one. I figured with all Z06 guts, somebody else in the vette forum probably owns one. I have a couple of question that somebody here may be able to answere. Anyone know of any custom 18" wheels for this car? anyone no how to defeat the factory safety feature for the DVD system so my family can enjoy a movie while traveling? Thanks

LS6 Motor in the 2004 and 2005 production year. LS2 in 2006 and current. Only a handful of aftermarket wheels available for the V since it is 6 lug. CCW, HRE, etc.

I stand corrected on the motor, I thought when the vette went to LS2 in 05 that the CTS-V followed suite......... my bad
When I said tons of wheels I was talking that all of the high end manufacturers such as HRE, CCW, I-forged etc... all had wheels for the car, if your not gonna put something nice on there why not just leave the stock wheels (which arent that bad looking to begin with).

THere is a very sweet set of CCW SP500 wheels on ebay for the CTS-V, only have 800 miles and look very good on that car. No links allowed here but just do a search for "CCW wheel" and they will come up.

I had an 04 I ordered brand new. No offense intended, but it was the biggest piece of crap ever. I wound up trading it in with 4000 miles on the clock for an E55 Benz. The CTSV had a great powertrain, but in search of a great car. Build quality was horrendous. My 64 yr old dad (who ordered his the same time I did) only lasted 7000 miles with his before he gave up and bought a c6 Z06. I won't bore you guys with the list of things that went worng with it. I sincerely hope you have much better luck with yours than I had w/ mine!
