talked with my only two friends [ man and wife] yesterday and they expressed interest in selling their 77 chevy 2door . they bought it new and have stored it winters for at least the last 20 years [i don't remember before that] . it's v8 ,automatic , dark red ,red interior . it's not show room but really nice [i haven't looked at it closely in a long time but will if anyone is interested] . it's all original except maintenance items like brakes ,ac compressor , belts ,etc. don't know mileage but think it's in 100,000 area . they are looking at a price in high $7000 range . any interest PM me . i've wanted to buy it and he wouldn't sell now we don't have money [probably loose house next year].......peace......bc

ironically jack just showed up with the car . it has 76,000 miles on it and while not perfect ,i bet it's the best in the country that is not in a museum.

I have a 77 Caprice (which is basically the same as the Impala) I drive daily. Has 206,000 miles on it and still runs pretty strong. Good car.
