The new mustangs are slow
I'm sorry to say it but your wrong, my '85 stock vs. '06 Mustang GT at the track 1/4 mile. I blew his doors off and beat him by over .5 sec
They sit high and the ride is soft because Ford no longer makes sports cars. The Mustang is a passenger car with a V8. Oh and its a 4.6L.

When I ride in a new Mustang I feel like I'm sitting in a plastic bathtub with pretty guages.

Don't get too excited. He may be slower than you, but his car isn't.
Trade cars and race again. I need drag radials just to beat them in the 1/8th mile. A whole 1/4 and I'd be toast by a few carlengths.

thanks for the color compliment, I like the red line it makes it stand out, it's how I got it. Down the line when silver gets boring I'd like a black paint job with the red trim cause black and red is awesome

It may have been entirely possible that the guy couldnt drive, cause he left in frustration not too long after.

Anyone else see the new Transformers movie? A 2-hour commercial for GM and featuring the new Camaro. I like it! And I really enjoyed the movie, too.

The Ford GT is neat, I can't afford one,will probably never be able to afford one so don't much care
They didn't make enough of them to be a p.i.t.a. but modded mustangs are all over the place and lots of them are nasty quick. I like the styling of the Mustang but I wonder what they will do next, after going retro with a 68 style maybe they'll go Mustang II next
