Default ride in a '67 Mustang 289 stroked to 308

All,
A good friend of mine called me Saturday as he took his 67 Mustang out for a ride. The motor has been stroked and it is a very rare car, factory AC, bench seats ect...

Those of you who know me, know how much I love running mustangs at the track, giving them the gay wave on the street ect...

Man I am inpressed!!! It had the most crazy gears and it held 1st well past 45 ish or something crazy. It rode realy nice. Not harsh at all, and fealt nice in the turns. It was old school, and very cool and I have to admint I was very impresses. I did not stop grining from ear to ear the entire ride.

All in all, I was very impressed. I hade been in clasic cars before, had a few back in the day (69 olds, 350 rocket...), been in a 70 TA 400, a 396 Chevelle, a 70 Nova... and this was by far, the best handling car of that era. It pulled way better the my Cutlas too. Man I need an old school track only car... Thnaks!

I did not know they made them like that either. VEry rare option, esp in a factory AC car. Not an expert here, but my bud is. Thanks man!
