Variable Geometry Turbos...GTR vs Escalade benchracing

Variable Geometry Turbos
EDit: The GTR will not have variable geometry turbos, it looks like.
I had some cool pics, so I thought I'd share, from a vw diesel site, www.myturbodiesel.com My 4 cylinder diesel got 53 mpg average fuel economy over a tank, why not compare that to a GTR, lol?
These have been in the US on some passenger car diesels since the 90's and having owned cars that used an almost identical engine both with and without the VGT, I can say that it makes a big difference. The only gasoline car to have used this was the 997 turbo and the new GTR is supposed to have them, thought car people would find it interesting.
oh, and if you want to add these to your corvette, forget it unless you can source them from a 997 turbo....I doubt they would be the right size anyways.
