Well the 599 has definitely been proven just as quick in the 1/4 at least due to the advance in F1-tranny/launch control tech in the short time since the Enzo was developed. Eventually, I think F1 shift will make its way into most sports cars as an option at least, although I must say I love a nice 6-speed tranny with short shifter.
