The GT500's are cool cars, but they are pigs weight-wise.

Love the GT500.. I am a big Mustang fan!!! But even with 605hp at the flywheel it will lose to a stock Z06. I raced one that made 600hp at the wheels... and my stock Z still beat it, though it was kinda close.

This isn't really new.

You can get it to 700HP and lose the warranty if you wish.

Thats a horrible warranty. LPE gives 3yr warranties with their performance upgrades.

Still not bad for a car with 600+HP, I mean for the price of the car as compared to what we have to pay for our Zs. Neverless, for me there can only be one, and that is my Z

Remeber they are paying from 10,000 to 20,000 over sticker so they are real close to what we are paying

That SUCKS as well, I would never pay that, I work too hard for my $$$$ I got my 2007 Z for $6k under MSRP, and if I waited a few weeks longer I saw a couple that went for invoice! There are a couple greedy dealers here in the Portland Oregon area that are holding onto their 07 Zs for 20 over sticker! I think they are going to hold on to them for awhile longer, one offered me a today only special for 10 over what a joke!
