Sold the vette - Bought an 04 Cobra
Been getting pms with people asking.
As most know I sell cars for Ford for the last 5 years.
We have a chev store we bought last year, so, i decided to go for something different.
I have 2 little ones still at home that I enjoy sharing the hobby with, well, obviously it's impossible to take the wife and kids, to the cruise ins and stuff like that.
And really, i'm a mustang guy at heart. I loved the car and it's going to a good home in Cali.
I got back earlier today from picking up a 2004 whippled 2004 Mystichrome Cobra.
Car has 13k miles on it and looks killer. It's the first modded car i've bought, so just like the guy buying mine , i was a bit nervous but it seems pretty good.
Got 10k or better in mods, full drag wheel setup too. So I got 2 sets of wheels and tires. for the car too.
So, i'm pretty stoked and will get pics up soon.

Congrats! Im also a Mustang guy at heart. I cant get rid of the Vette. Hopefully Ill be adding another Stang to the stable next year after a little project of mine takes off.

When I hear "Cobra" I think of an SC or AC Cobra. You can tell I'm not a Mustang guy. 
We all like different things and Mustang's are fine...you got the car you wanted and it'll better serve your family needs. Congratulations...enjoy and drive safe!

Mystichrome - Rarest color Cobra out there, i assume its got the matching seat inserts too. Great find, but, Good luck when you get a scratch on that paint. We charge SUPER HIGH for that stuff. Its one of the most, if not the most difficult color to spray.
I owned 6 mustangs (99 -04, including GT's and a Mach 1) and a GTO (05) before joining the corvette family, and like you, i contemplated several 03 - 04 cobras, GT500's, etc. Even at 15 - 25 thousand miles all the cars i test drove were horribly beat up and ragged on. Very worn out and "loose" even with low mileages. They seem to get raced and abused quite a bit more. I wouldnt buy any year mustang cobra with more than a couple thousand miles on it. I purchased this 2003 Mach 1 from the original owner, with just a little over 3,000 miles on it. Actually made money when i sold it with 9,000 miles later on.
