GM Extended Warranty Refund: Annoying
Howdy.
Currently dealing with GM on getting the extended warranty programs refunded for two of the cars: the Avalanche and the C5Z.
One of the requirements: take a picture of the tail end of the car with the license plate on it. can't be a digital picture. <-- kinda hard when you have one of them in another state.
Another: The original receipt from 5 years ago. Without it they wont even bother
Worth it? Yea, it's some good money back.
However, for jumping through such silly hoops... there will never be another new GM vehicle in my garage ever. So long Government Motors patronage. I'll be getting the refunds on the Cadi's and Hummers now rather than later.

Are you dealing with the dealer you bought the GMPP plan from? I went to the dealer I bought one of my plans from, filled out a form, and they sent me the check. It was pretty easy actually.
