Default Viper's on Pass Time...

These guys were claiming 1000 hp and only running 10's/11's. Trap speeds were 130 to 140 if I remem.

With that power level I'd expect low 9's tho.

The Gallardo with the claimed 100k turbo upgrade either wasn't running on all cylinders or I'll say that's the biggest waste of money on the face of the earth. I think it ran a mid 11 WTF?

Its called lifting, almost every driver on that show were just ******* it down the 1/4, go on you tube and see those same cars run single digit times, some in the 8's. Did you fail to listen to the drivers saying the were running at certain boost levels as well?, I know for a fact some of the underground racing cars make about 2000 hp with the boost turned up. I took my Viper to test and tune 2 weeks ago, it makes well over 800hp, I just tested my 60fts as my car isnt tuned properly yet, 1.7 60ft taking it easy on dr's 1/4 averaged 12.0 at 89mph ya think I was lifting a tad dont let that program fool you ,the Viper with the shoot is a 7 second car. Most of those cars were from Underground racing, those are some seriously wicked cars.

I believe the vipers were on street tires as well. Nitto invos if I remember correctly. Any 2wd car on street tires that can break into the 10's is a very fast car.

As other's said, both were on street tires and at least 19 inch rims. The Gallardo bogged off the line and still broke the 10sec mark (pretty sure.) The Viper launched pretty violently as well. Both cars weren't even setup for the quarter mile...not to mention that I'm pretty sure the drivers aren't exactly track savy.

I read the write up on the Gallardo a few months back as it was featured in the Dupont Registry. I'm not a fan of that car but it is pretty sick and slick with the way they setup the twin turbo on it. All this to say I have a lot of respect for both those vehichles...

Yes those were all the UGR guys, they said the track that day was hooking like pure garbage! The Gallardo's are awd on a prepped track they hook GREAT no burnout needed, they said that day all the Gallardo's were spinning halfway down the track.
