Good for Ford, I'm glad they are keeping the Mustang competive with the Camaro HP wise.
Sure the GT500 has even more power, but that is in a different price catagory.
Competition is good for everybody.

And what if Ford added the GT500 look to it aka GS, I'm willing to bet they'd have to operate the plant 24/7 to keep up with demand. SALES and bringing traffic into the showroom is every manufactures number 1 concern right now.

Now we are really talking about a viable entry leve Mustang GT to compete against the new Camaro, Ford had to do this with the Camaro sales off the map, maybe the C6 will get an engine upgrade over the base 430/436 HP

so Ford FINALLY figured out how to get 400 hp NA out of that platform, took them long enough! you figured they would have come up with something else instead of beating their head againt the wall for this long, whoopee!

No but I have real figures on my last trip to the track, the SS could get out of the 13's, it was a six speed, but it was on street tires.
