Default 2008 CLK63 AMG Black Series lease transfer ($1600/mo)

I put this on the MB forums a few days ago but I figured I'd post it here too since this place is full of high performance knuckleheads, plus I still own a C5! Hopefully I'll get another one of these in the future, but for now I've decided to start a consulting business and money is tight. As such I'm looking for someone who is willing to take over the lease as-is. I think sticker was $147500, and the other black series leases I've seen have been around $2400-2600. If you are interested or have any questions please feel free to email me at mobile@neotek-industries.com.

Thanks,
Jeff

I'm throwing in a $1000 incentive if I can get this sold soon.

Not huge, I know, but it will cover the transfer fee and maybe a plane ticket to come pick her up.

Sweet ride, I assume it was a 60m lease? If so that's $96K in payments!

Thanks! You are correct it was a 5 year lease, but if I would have financed at MSRP/60 months/5% my payments would have been $2595/mo for a total of $155700 (that doesn't include tax/title/tags either)

IMO leasing cars like this is the only way to go. If you still want to drive one after so many years you can usually pick up a used one for peanuts compared to what they want when it's new. Thanks for looking!

Or waiting and buying them used. CLK63 BS cars with under 10k miles are going for around $80k or less nowadays.

True, I've seens imilar cars with no mods and not beat up for around $85k, which is still far more than the sum of my lease after financing. But if you have $80k cash in hand then obviously you wouldn't be interested in a lease transfer.

Thanks. It comes set up from AMG in the same mode the used to test on the Nurburgring so it's fairly rough, but the car comes with all the tools necessary to change the compression, rebound, and ride height. I haven't monkeyed with it yet so everything is still in the stock setup.

Thanks! I'll probably be driving my '99 C5 and '89 328i for a while, then from there I'll see how my consulting business goes. Depending on the outcome of that it could be anything from a 1980s Honda to a new Ferrari

I really enjoy this car though and if money were no object I'd buy another in a heartbeat.
