I was around in the 70's and I have never seen anything like that before, it is definitly some after market add on fm unit.

Is that a radio with clock built in?

You might want to try originalcarradios.com. They have a pics of a lot of different OEM radios. I tried looking through them, but every page after "Imperial" wasn't loading.

Wow, a mechanical "digital" clock! Wonder if it made a loud ticking sound as the numbers revolved?
