Default International MXT Pickup Badest truck in the world!!

After a century of building all varieties of trucks and settling into mostly commercial vehicles, International celebrated its 100th birthday by reentering the medium-duty truck market with its brand-new MXT. Aimed at an upscale crowd that still demands the looks and performance of a real truck, the MXT is a true 4X4 that can tow fifth-wheels with ease. "From International's first truck 100 years ago to the new International MXT, we've manufactured trucks that have been on the leading edge of innovation," said Dee Kapur, president of International Truck and Engine's Truck Group.

Although the MXT is labeled a pickup, it is by no means small. At 8 feet wide and nearly 8 feet tall, the 10,500-pound truck has other specs to match. A 4,000-pound payload capacity and 15,500-pound towing capacity are standard, as is its 300hp, 530-lb-ft, VT365, V-8 diesel. The engine drives through an Allison five-speed automatic transmission with heavy-duty front and rear axles that power 20-inch alloy wheels and Pro Comp 40x13.50R20 tires. The interior is full of creature comforts, such as leather seats, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, remote entry, and optional CD/DVD players.

The MXT pre-production features include:

-- Towing capacity of 8 tons

-- 300 horsepower with 530 lb.-ft. torque

-- Seating for five

-- Custom interior options

The RXT production model features include:

-- Towing capacity of 11.25 tons (14.75 tons for 5th wheel version)

-- 230-310 horsepower range with 540-950 lb.-ft. torque

-- Seating for five

If playing keep-up with the Jones is your game, and said Mr Jones buys a Hummer, what do you do? You go out and buy an International pick-up, that’s what! The World’s Largest Pickup Truck was created by taking the trailer off a prime hauler, doing a bit of remodelling here and there, and turning it into a humungous don't-mess-with-me three-dimensional personal statement - a pickup so big that the crew cab can seat five sumo wrestlers with ease (providing one of them can drive) and the tray can carry a jet ski or a motorcycle with the tailgate up. Yesterday at the Chicago Auto Show, International unveiled the new International MXT 4x4 pickup truck, which has the same gargantuan proportions and strength as its brethren (it can tow 8 tons), and slots in as the third member of International's XT family, joining the CXT and the RXT.

With its diesel engine roaring and air horn blasting, the powerful red pickup truck thundered through the walls of International Truck and Engine Corporation's booth at its Chicago Auto Show press conference. That's how the company -- which sent shockwaves through the pickup truck world in 2004 by launching the world's largest production pickup truck -- continued to knock down the walls of convention in unveiling its new International MXT 4x4 pickup.

With 16,000 pounds of towing capacity, the new International MXT has the ability to tow three leading model pickups behind it. A cousin to the colossal International CXT introduced two years ago, the MXT is a sleek and dominant truck geared for the "image" truck market, a growing niche of truck owners who want to make a powerful statement about who they are.

Check out this luxury pickup with 20" Wheels.

Great truck no problems or accidents, and warranty, so no risk of something not working. Cost over $100,000 just over a year ago for this monster.
It has 30k miles and is under warranty, so no risk to you, this is not very many miles for this truck, it is just getting broken in. (I think the warranty goes through August, so it gives you half a year to make sure everything is perfect, but I will check on the exact date....it is bumper to bumper from the factory and includes all oil changes/services and towing with rental car if ever needed) It is built with the same components as the International semi-trucks which go 500,000 miles. The engine, transmission and rear ends should go anywhere from 300,000-500,000 miles and then about 500,000-750,000 miles for the transaxle and axles without any problems.
A Steel for $69,000
