They claim its "under rated"' but they are using a dynojet which reads the highest out of the dyno's and IMO is unrealistic and just for showing off, if it were on a real dyno like a mustang (no pun intended) or a dyno dynamics the numbers would be closer to what Ford claims.

Seriously though..........is horsepower the only reason that we own and drive vettes? I mean, the fastest accelerating car you can buy with the largest horsepower/ weight ratio is an Ariel Atom but you give up all creature comforts, ride quality, windows, doors, safety, etc. So, no matter what the 2011 Mustang GT makes in horsepower, it is not a vette. Nice car though.
PS: Would love to have an Atom as a weekend toy .......
. It looks like it's absolutely insane to drive.
