New Infiniti G37 dead in driveway....parking lights on, but switch is off..
Wife came home a few hrs ago, just went out & said the car's parking lights are on & it won't start..
I checked the light stalk switch and its in Auto...
Went to charge it & after a minute the parking lights suddenly went off, and the battery is now charging..
Will arrange for a service appt..
Anyone have any ideas other than a short or stuck relay possibly?
Had the car 1 month, 800 miles..
Why would the parking lights (front & rear) be on with the stalk in Auto?
Any ideas or similar encounters?
Thanks.

Our C5s can do the same kind of weird things (lights, sounds, etc) when the battery voltage is low enough. I suspect that this may have happened in your G37's case, especially if everything appears to work normally when the battery is charge up enough. It wouldn't be the first time that a battery was bad after such a short time period. Then again, it could be that the battery was never fully charged when you picked up the car.
