Battle of the Supercars - ZR1 vs Viper SRT-10
Didn't see any thread about it, so just a FYI for all you ZR1 guys to scan your local listing for the upcoming "Battle of the Supercars" episode on the SPEED channel.
"The Ultimate American Supercar"
Paul Tracy pits a Dodge Viper SRT 10 against Tanner Foust in a Corvette ZR1.
Should be interesting!

Show is bull**** nothing but a bunch of drifting, showing off not even realistic. The only part that might be real are the drag races.

Both of these cars have reached that level: can't really go wrong either way but I'm a sucker for a mean American V8.

The cars are moded! Not a fair test of power.

Saw the GTR and 997 comparison....kind of lame B rated car show. Nothing against Paul Tracy, but reviewing cars on camera aint his gig.

I though Paul was funny hammering the drifter Foust with some good shots. It is just entertainment, and if you treat it as such, it is entertaining.

Hopefully they can make a decent show out of it, with some good track footage.

I agree. I liked the show and am looking forward to upcoming episodes.
I was impressed with Foust when driving the Porsche GT3RS on the road course. It was the first time he was able to show what a good driver he actually is during one of these kind of entertainment shows.

Viper vs. Zr1
I also own both and they are totally different driving experiences but you can't go wrong with either....The Z is very refined, the Viper is in its element when driven hard and seems faster than it is.......As I like to say, I would marry the Z but I would sleep with the Viper.....

I'm thinking 3-way. My ZR1 is very open minded.

Heres my American muscle line up.
08' 650R package
10' CTSV 600V package
10' ZR1 (Dropping the ZR1 off at LMR to slap in a cam/full exhaust/pulley/etc).
I love the looks of the viper and the raw power. (Made 580rwhp) But the ZR1 is just so easy to drive, with the mods its going to just be a beast!
