You need to be looking on your local craigslist with that amount to spend, you may be able to buy a few c5 parts with your budget, but not a car.
I know how it feels, I started out with a budget much lower than yours and worked my way up, but it was a very long climb.
I bought hundreds of cars one at a time to get to my paid for GS....Good Luck, Bee

but it sure is a rewarding climb if you can make money off of this Oh, and to the OP: I agree - craig's list is great. I purchased my first car (a 1985 v6 Camaro) for 1500 many moons ago. My, how I loved that car ... and it was 13 years old then.

do a search on autotrader im sure you can find tons of cars there within your price range dont forget people are always willing to negotiate so put a max price of 2500 in and talk someone down to something you can afford by the way next time please for the love of god try using punctuation i realize it takes a lot of effort but it really does make it easier to read
