GTR Does 9.3 Second Quarter Mile
The GTR has raised the bar again for a DCT equipped car:

What's the AMS 'Alpha 10' package? To what extent is that car modified? Anyways, I still haven't seen a bone stock GT-R run high tens like a Z06 does.

And I have yet to see a "stock" C6Z seat 4 people..
GTR did a best 11.4@122MPH I believe. Still a long way off from that 10.98@130MPH for a Z. Still impressive considering a 3890LBS curb weight and 25 less HP.

Shouldn't this be in the other cars section, or is it a free for all here? Maybe I'll post video of Paul Major in here when some video of his 6.86@210 run on drag radials comes online.

OK, we get it you don't like the GT-R. The car in this vid did that full weight on drag radials with a dual clutch tranny heavy AWD system and a 3.8L V6 with two turbos. The car drove to the strip and back with no cage and got kicked out after it made 2 passes.

That car has a built trans, not to mention that the car was driven to the track, launched multiple times and driven back home. This car also did numerous passes before on the same trans and drives everywhere.
#13
What is "built" on the trans exactly? I'm not bashing the GTR, it's an amazing car. But, I'm worried about any AWD, super high hp car that's getting massive hole shots like that.

Regarless the 5.0 mustang is now again the car for for people who want to be 1/4 kings, at low cost.

no question. the 2011 5.0 was just released months ago, and it's rapidly gone 12's, then 11s, then 10s, then 9s, then 8s!! And it's kind of ironic because during the 5.0 dohc development there were "rumors" the aluminum block would not be up to snuff for making big power......WRONG And whats even more interesting is the fact this is the mass production 5.0 and not the boss 302 block and design thats reportedly "much more robust" as far as thrashing capability.
