Default Looking good . . .

My '84 C-10 is another C6 color combo - Victory Red over Machine Silver:

Mine has a different kind of big block: a 396 . . . . . diesel. With Nitrous Oxide .

I have an 81 GMC 4X4 that is pretty clean, but needs a repaint. I noticed that you removed the wide plastic silver moulding strips along the sides. I like that idea, and plan to remove mine as well. I did notice that you left the metal strip below the tail lights - I know there are holes under them. I plan to leave those alone as well.

I have already done my engine, and it looks pretty identical to your dad's. What carb is he running?

Glad to see the pics. I like the color, but I have to think about the red rims.

Thanks,

M...

Left over originals... He bought a set of aluminum mags off a guy while the truck was being redone... Turned out to be the wrong bolt pattern, and he couldn't use them... Still deciding on a new set...

Thanks guys... He just had a bigger cam/ beefed up push rods,(bent the last set) I took it for a drive and its true what they say," There's no replacement for displacement!" His tuner is trying to talk him into adding nitrous... Its already scary fast! I hate to think what it would be like with a shot of nitrous?
