Default sool my c5 this week

... well actually used the vette as a trade in on a CTS Coupe V. can't say enough nice stuff about the V and that's a fact... the 1000 lbs makes a difference in lots of areas, not as nimble as the vette for one thing... in the mountain figure about 10 MPH less on the twistys and only because I didn't want to work that hard really. in sport mode on the suspension the v really handles much better than I had thought, and surprisingly fast... sorta like having your living room propelled by slingshot. all in all very happy and look forward to the 2012 vette -bmb

I think you'll be very happy with the V, I have the coupe however I'm sure the sedan is a nice car as well... I do not get the racing seats. I was looking to a hwy machine not a track machine. and man you know what's up when the supercharger kicks in for sure... I also got the auto, no stick in the future for LA traffic for me...

I was pretty closed to getting an 05 a while back. Would be nice if the Corvette had a few more Cadillac interior in it.

What year is it, is it the one with the super charger rated at 556hp?

2011, and yes it is the 'V' one small gripe is milage.... so used to the 24/26 on the vette... best I ever get on the CTS is 22, usually 16/18... even on the hwy.

so I put 1K miles on this week driving around the montains and frwys in socal... you can feel the 1000 lbs on the road... in the vette crusing at 70mph/2k on the tach it takes very little foot pressure to keep that up.. mostly just coasting. in the CTS, same situation, you have to keep the foot pushing at all times... seems to never be just coasting...

and the cts does not have runflats... has the pump and goo in the trunk... looking into runflats, haven't found any that match the front yet...

very stable to drive and almost 'quiet' in the cab, hear road noise comming from the back tires up though the trunk or somewhere. the most fun is the remote start, works like a dream.

this cts v is the car I wanted when I got the sts v8 in 05. never really liked the sts... great concept just didn't really pull together for me.

Wait... the most fun is the part of the car is the remote start? I think our priorities are different. My mother's Fit has a remote start on it. $200 installed. :o)

the cts is my daily driver, no stick in LA traffic I'll tell ya, it's really miserable out here
... here it is straight from the dealer... took the badging off the v today and got the back windows blacked out last week. getting the wheels powder coated black next week. that's about all I'll do on the car... just a 2 year lease
