I'm confused about your confusion. What's the "contradiction?"

Nope. Read it again. There's no fanboyism going on. Just stating the facts of the test. You don't have to be a ZR1 fanboy to state that the ZR1 beats the GT-R in a straight line, as I've done elsewhere and many times on these forums.

Let's say I couldn't care less about anyone else not getting the contradiction. Why don't you explain to me what the contradiction is, ok?

Maybe Dave68 can give it a try?

heck, "Best Motoring" used to do endurance races.... now everyone in that monthly video magazine is too old (40 to 50, 70 if you count Motoharu Kurosawa) to do such thing.

Looks would be the big reason for me. You also don't depend on a country that is in the middle of a typhoon, earthquake, tsunami belt for parts which are ultra expensive to begin with.

Really, if GM came out with a car that has a PS3 looking dashboard and ugly looks they would be slammed no matter how good the car is performance wise.

Zr1 with sport cup tires is faster as evidenced by the 2012 Nurburgring time of 7:19. Couldn't help but throw that out there.
