I think I'd hunt down some of my previous cars and some of the cars my Dad owned, but them and have them restored:
1) 1969 Shelby GT500
2) 1973 455 Trans Am (4 speed)
3) 1970 Z28 Camaro
4) 1969 Corvette (the one I now own)
5) Lets throw in a Lamborghini Miura SV for good measure

Adding a 72 Chevy nova ss to my list.
And really no one else wants a Bugatti veyron?(sp?) fastest street legal off the line production car. Only like 2 million dollars now for the new ones

I play this game all the time with my brothers. If I were to pick 5 NEW cars, they would be:
1. Lamborghini Aventador
2. Mercedes Benz CLS 63 AMG
3. BMW X6M
4. Ford SVT Raptor
5. BMW M5
Now, if were talking older cars, I would buy the following:
1. 1967 427 Corvette roadster or coupe
2. 1955-1960 Mercedes Benz 300SL roadster
3. 1965 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350
4. 1971 Plymouth Hemi Cuda
5. 1971 Mercedes Benz 280 SE 3.5 cabriolet

Oh man, good call on the Huayra.
May have to kick the V16 Caddy off my list and replace it with the Pagani.

And the older cars are great to look at or to cruise in for short distances but really, the newer cars are soooo much better handling, faster and have amenities that many of us take for granted these days. We're not talking about investments; it's all about the driving experience.
