I LOVE IT!!!!!!!
I would actually take the 2013 Shelby GT 500 over the base model C7 for the same $, 200 less Horsepower in the C7, and one butt UGLY rear end, that ruins the C7s otherwise cool and aggressive design What was GM thinking on that rear end that does not match any other body lines on the car!
That being said I'm sure I will warm up to the C7, when I see the C7 ZR1 making at least 700 ponies!

As the temperature goes down, and guys are learning how to get some performance out of these box stock cars, they are getting faster.
Must remember that all 2013 Shelby's come from the factory with TB's that only open 85% of full throttle! A simple tune that opens the TB up 100% picks up almost 50 more rear wheel H.P.! The Goodyear tires suck for traction!

Very true, by late December we WILL see a much lower ET/higher MPH out of a bone stock 2013 GT500, be it with Evan Smith driving or another 'well versed' driver.
My prediction for an all out best pure stock pass still stands at 11.3s/11.2s at over 130mph in good air at a well prepped track. 10.8s/maybe 10.7s with just a rear tire swap.
