Someone here has owned ton of BMWs....M3s only.
Overall M3 is better than Z06. M3 does everything WELL but nothing GREAT. Which is why its probably the most balanced car out there for the money.
I left BMW and picked up a C6Z since i wanted a fast car, i ask myself daily if i will go back or not...still cant answer. Best would be to own both

Why do you bother to stay on the Vette forum? Just curious....
Obviously it was financially benefficial, but no. I hated driving a cobalt, which is what the Corvette felt like unless I was getting on it or hitting curves. The 370z is a much nicer car, and I only miss the z06 every now and then. The z06 is awesome in the performance department, but every other benchmark is in the $15-18,000 econo car category. Seats sucked, stereo bad, nav so outdated I didn't even bother getting it. As a $75k car, it was a failure anywhere but the track. Maybe I'm being a bit harsh, but I think people need to be a bit harsh. It's a problem that needs fixing, and I hope the c7 fixes it.
