Trans Question on my DD
Not that this is specific to my DD (2003 Lexus RX300), but I have a question on my Auto Trans. In the cold weather, the shift points increase significantly until the trans warms up to normal operating temps. Once the trans has warmed up, the shift points return to "normal". This typically doesn't happen if the outside temp is above 40-45 degrees. I have about 102K on the clock.
Of course, this hasn't been an issue for the past several months, but thinking ahead, I suspect this will come back again in a few months. Can someone fill me in on what my issue is and the possible fix? Thanks!!
