Calling all Harley Davidson owners, lets see em!
Just started a new career selling Harley Davidson motorcycles, and made me wonder what HD's CF is rockin'. We get an aweful lot of vettes rolling in here, so I know a lot of us have HOGs too. I would love to see pics and hear about your bikes and what you've done to them!

I have a 2007 Nightster. All kinds of goodies... Forward controls, two up seat (real leather, factory was vinyl) detachable sissy bar, mini apes, matching covers all around, pipes, vance and hines fuelpak...
Deal is that if I bought a Corvette the bike had to go... so she is on the market...
I love the bike, but actually riding it anymore scares me... I just don't feel comfortable riding on roads with cars, and I never felt safe going as fast as I want to go on her, so the time to say goodbye is upon me...

Sorry to hear the Nightster has to go, but if it isn't getting use like it should, maybe time for a new home.
McGirk...I'm smelling either a VROD or a xr1200x

I have a Dyna glide with a 120 inch motor pretty tricked out. Custom fuel tank, instruments, matching wheels & sprocket with PM brakes front and rear, and just about everything else that you can put on for performance.
Right now I have a problem maybe somebody can help me with. I believe my stator needs to be replaced but I can't get that large nut for the stator coupler to break loose.
I had one guy come over who is considered by some to be the strongest man around. However even with a 26 inch breaker bar and 23 inch arms he was unable to break it loose.
I do not have compressor at the house so air tools are out
Any suggestions?

Mc-I am a fan of the rods, I hope to see more liquid cooled bikes in the future for Harley, maybe we wont be burning ourselves so much...

Somebody had suggested that a 6 point instead of the 12 point 1 1/2 inch socket I was using would exert more leverage. However a 5 foot extension on my breaker bar didn't help either.
But a torch and an air impact had it off in a few seconds. As I suspected my stator was shot.
Later I will get into my other computer and put some pictures up

just saw this thread...here is mine, just rode it to the local pub cruise in this evening...was 82 degrees today, probably the last 80 degree day we'll see for a few months. It's not fast or fancy but it sure is a lot of fun and an attention getter....

now those last two are some awesome unique bikes, that world war bike is so awesome. Looks like it's set up for someone like 5'2" though lol
I totally did that over the top bobber. Its nice to see one done up with some extreme mods that doesnt look too extravagant, pretty nice man.

Yeah at 6'4" and 250 the WLA looks a bit "mopedish" under me but I still love it and smile real big when I am riding it. Back in WWII there were not as many 6'4" 250 guys...any that were in the military and 6'4" sure as heck were not 250
When I bought the bike I found out a bunch of stuff was not original even thought the bike looked great. I rode it a few months then it began eating at me that it wasn't correct. So i tore it all down to the frame and rebuilt it back up...did it in 3 weeks! Still need a few parts such as the kicker pedal but it is about 90% accurate now. Only problem is it sidetracked my vette resto...now back to the vette.
I love the ironhead bobber, old school with a few modern touches....very sweet!
