Got a new to me 2006 Viper
Well, I loved my old blue Viper, but some inconsiderate drivers and a new traffic pattern conspired against me to force me into a new car back in the summer. After some serious soul searching considering a CTS- V, ZL1 (we just had our first baby) and even an Aston Martin Vantage, I ultimately decided I just wasn't done with the Vipers yet. For the money, I can't seem to find an equal when taking everything into consideration. I just can't get into a Vette until its a C7.
I pretty much had my mind set on a 2008 Viper this time around, but left a 10% chance open for a nicely modded 2006 coupe again. As fate would have it, I stumbled upon that car, with way more mods, and paid less than either of my other two Vipers. In the end, this car will be way more unique and fun, and I'll have another $25k in the bank versus a 2008. This also allows me some flexibility to get into a 2013 Viper when the time is right.
This coupe has a Paxton with all the available upgrades including a nice fuel system. It has headers, no cats and a Corsa. It's just under 700rwhp currently, but I'm in the process of detuning and swapping to a stock pulley to be around 650rwhp. It has KW Coilovers now, but I just picked up a set of Motons to have it slammed and keep an amazing ride. I threw on the wheels from my old car for now. I also plan to add the 2008 hood and polish the intake, TB, valve covers and Paxton system before spring.

that's really sharp. congrats!
i've always been a fan of viper looks, each generation. so distinct, so unique and all its own.
can't say that about many cars the past 10-15 years.
i've never had opportunity to drive one but am certain i'd enjoy it one day. have a pal with a gts who sold it, said it was way too much car for him.

That is one of the most amazing looking cars ive ever seen. I cant decide between C6z or a viper but that my friend, to me, makes an easy decision. Killer, awesome car. Congratulations!

If you we're N/a you would be ok, ( actually 3.31 works better on N/A gen 3's) but F/I , a no no on vipers.
