Default 69 SS Camaro FS:

Here is the one we did a few years back for a customer that he wants $20k, scratch that.... $15k now!!! He has moved to Seattle so car needs to go! for. It looks awesome from 20' but it is far from a concourse show car...it is a good looking tuff/fast street car that shows well.

Fast as heck...built 350 with stall converter and built trans. Interior is all new, but not 100% perfect. (carpet and all, including headliner).

He spent over $25 k just on the restoration and drivetrain so it wont last long:

We didnt do the body and it is a 20'er for sure. I suspect it was a vinal top car and they cut the drip rails off (we never would have). Yes, was factory air car but all is missing now. Yes front disc brake car and yes on hangers. Heres what I see that was done. trunk pan, both rear quarters new, new carpet, seat covers frnt & rear, all door panels, etc. What they did wrong:

Cut carpet short on drivers side of consol, drivers seat springs are bad, cut some interior trim wrong, and dash pad has screws in it.

Front fenders are bubbling already and door seams are bondo'd.

To do it right, it needs to be stripped again....new front fenders (they are so inexpensive dont know why they didnt in the first place).

And prepped properly (can see DA scratches through paint) and done right.

The guy spent a ton on it. We did motor, trans, new driveshaft, etc. so thats all bad azz.

This car is a true 69 X11 V8 car. 12 bolt, etc, but NOT a true SS...has drum brakes.

We would make it real nice for another $5-7k (media blast body and do it right).

Original color was green with dark green interior (google search "decoding trim tags 69 camaro") to find all you need to determine the cars manufacture date, etc.

This car runs and drives awesome and is fast...we did the motor, trans, FTI stall converter and it has a 12 bolt posi.

This can be a $30-$35k car and we would charge $5-7k to media blast and repaint as well as straighten out the interior, etc.

Car is a bargain at this price. The transporter is picking up his 69 vette in the next day or so but he wont be able to take this one with him (moving to Seattle).

Floors and trunk, subframe, etc. is all solid......drivers door has mud in it and some in the passenger one as well. Trunk shows a patch.

Why would the driver's door have mud in it? Was the car in a flood?

Good question about the mud in the door(s). What's up with that?
I must say, from the pictures you wouldn't think this is a "20-footer".

Lol... Mud in the door means bondo or body filler. In other words there was some rust repair.

Bump for what seems to be a good deal

IMO this is one of those cars that you could have fun with while waiting to win the lottery and make it into a low 8 second street/show car

Good car that can be driven and enjoyed while planning to redo it right.

Yup, floor and trunk pans are replaced, but both doors show bondo over rust as do the frnt fenders. They are only around $120 each though.

Depends on the trade.

The rear is a good solid 12 bolt posi. Feels like 3.73 gears but not sure.

I have to many possible deals on the table to take this one on too now since I posted; if all these current ones fall out I'll get back with you.
