Knowing the design flaws of my front suspension (´85 Pontiac Fiero, let's just say someone had a bit of bad luck figuring out the pivots of the lower control arms as well as the scrub radius ) I am toying with the idea of eventually swapping in a complete vette front crossmember, or, if that's not a possible solution, to at least use the rest of the front suspension and make up a new crossmember (and add mounting points to the fiero frame where necessary). I was thinking C4 for cost reasons (plus I could re-use the brakes I already installed) but C5 or C6 could be fun. I might have to do a widebody to make it work, but that's a later problem.

Now, what are your thoughts on such an operation? Would any generation crossmember make a better candidate than the others?
