Default Hybrid/Electric Vette????

This teaser image from Detroit Electric looks likes their upcoming two seat sports car is based on the C7. I know a hybrid/electric may be blasphamous to most of us but maybe there is a market for this.

I pure electric with 300 mile range, 0 to 60 @ 4 seconds. Electric torque is amazing. It is already available in other cars (Tesla Motors) The only negative is lack of a manual transmission, engineering can make that happen.

Similar but not a C7. Look at the mirrors and front/fenders and hood. All different.

Good points. However, the headlights and roof look like it is directly off of a C7. Maybe Detroit Electric made some styling changes to differentiate itself from the gas C7. I wonder if they fixed the Camaro Lights????

Save for the hood, looks like it may be Lotus based.

[Edit] It is Lotus based. http://jalopnik.com/detroit-electric...et-a-456350550

Hydrid / Electric Corvette?

Right now, NO. Pipe dream at this time (in the future, maybe, but not now). If they did come up with one with reasonable range, the price would not make it profitable. Leave it to the government to screw this up.

Save for the hood, looks like it may be Lotus based.
"The company, non-existent for about 70 years before it was revived in 2008 by Albert Lam, former Group CEO of the Lotus Engineering Group and executive director of Lotus Cars of England, will set up its headquarters in the Fisher Building."
