I'm looking at adding a 08 Viper to the stable. It's out of factory warranty, but plan on keeping it stock so I would like some type of warranty coverage. Anybody have a recommendation how I should proceed. Thanks

My 06 had power steering leaks that I couldn't chase down. There was always a greasy spot in my garage. The cost for repairs on this car is pretty hefty. I would recommend a warranty if you find a clean stock, low mileage car.

I notice that it only applies to vehicles that are less than 4 years old. I wonder if there is another that you could get for a GTS ? Im thinking about getting a GTS , but the lack of a warranty is holding me back.

My GTS has been troublefree since I have owned it (knock wood). I purchased it with a warranty for a peace of mind but never used it. I hate to say it but I think they are more trouble free than the Vettes.

Call Chrysler Warranties.

Last year I had a 2001 Viper GTS warrantied through them. They can warranty vehicles up to 10 years old. (or something like that) I purchased my warranty for the Viper before it was 10 years old.

Don't worry about whats on their website, give them a call.

I have a 99ACR did the same thing you did, covered bumper to bumper , it actually ends this June , had the work done on my car after warranty stuff was covered, which included the ACR coil overs that were covered( they were 13 grand.
My clutch master cylinder was leaking, which was also covered, while they had the trans apart, I had them install a stage 3 spec clutch and flywheel , only cost me $200.

Same here. I own a 2002 GTS and it was under warranty when I bought it. A truly trouble free car with NO problems at all.

Thank You for the information also gentlemen. I'm also looking for an 08' Viper. If anyone finds a snakeskin green no stripe coupe or a white coupe with lower mileage please inform me.

Thanks for all the responses. I decided I'm going to pull the trigger and add a viper to the stable. Anybody ever see a 2008+ in viper venom red metallic? I would like some feedback on this color if possible. Thanks.

I like the Venom Red but everyone has their own tastes. Only way to be sure is to see it for yourself outside in the sunlight.
