How many Cadillac owners are here?

It sounds like everyone one here has a wife that drives a Caddy.
My wife has 2011 SRX 4 Performance Edition. She flat out loves her SRX!
We bought it new in December 2010, and it now has 48,000 miles on it. We both love the CTS coupe, but my wife often has to take co-workers with her. Because of that, she felt the coupe would be impracticable.
The SRX replaced her 2003 CTS, that she loved and put 135,000 miles on. She'd probably still be driving the it, if I hadn't kept bugging her about getting a new car.

SRX Stinks
My wife had a new SRX after trading a full size Yukon for two winters ...SHE HATED IT AND SOLD IT BEFORE SNOW FLEW LAST WINTER ....
She is very experianced in snow and freezing driving and said it felt like she was already in trouble by the time the 4x4 automatic drive started working....
Went back to a full size and I get to sleep at night.....

FourFather Eddie Hill's Cadillac STS-V
I have really enjoyed my STS-V. The supercharged Northstar engine is a lot of fun, as is the six-speed auto that you can manual shift, and the big Brembo brakes and anti-roll bars let it handle and stop better than you would expect from a four-door. 15 speakers let me enjoy my music, and the voice activated controls are pretty cool, too. All in all one of my more enjoyable street rides.

I've had several. Caddys are never going to be light on your wallet though. I don't know about the Jags but Caddys are also full of high tech that is expensive to repair.
I've had the FWD Northstar cars. They usually need to have the engines case halves resealed, $2K. Active suspensions, very expensive unless you convert to passive shocks.
Now I'm riding in an 07 STS-V and 05 Escalade, love them but will be expensive to maintain as well.

My wife drives a 09 CTS in Thunder Grey Met. and her daily driver a 97 Seville STS which she calls her "Truck". 120K and now in for its 1st major repair an abs module. Best car we ever owned. Still gets 22+ mpg. Though my cooksey 08 z06 gets the best mpg!
