Well, it's slower, softer sprung, about 1000lbs heavier, gets pretty bad mileage. The interior will be nicer, the repair bills will be higher, and more often. Ones a GT and ones a sports car. Which do you prefer?

I would think most potential buyers would go the Maserati forum for feedback on repairs, cost, etc, not this forum.

It's pretty much luxury ferrari. rapair bill is the same as ferrari too. A few years ago I was thinking of buying Quatraporte, they were going for low 30's high 20ies... Amazing car, just a dream car to be honest, but i wouldnt be able to afford the maintanance (brakes are close to $2k, oil changes were insane as well). But yes, with exhaust they sound just beastly, like nothing else.

Go to the 10 minute mark of the below video, I believe this is the model you are referencing. Video is out at MSR Cresson, TX. I'm in a bone stock 2013 Z06 with street tires (PS2). After the session he came up to me asking what mods I had done, etc. (none). It is a really nice car. He wanted a sports car but the wife insisted it be a 4-seater so that is what he got. I thought he did just fine with it. My wife really liked it as well.

I don't understand this.
Not top of the line, buying used. So all the other high rollers with brand new models will still turn up their noses.
Not particularly quick, especially given the price, so gets no points there.
Nice inside? I'm sure it is. But $XXXXX amount better then car Y? Doubtful.
Maintanance? Prepare the lube...
Same for buying things like a 355, or original gallardo. The gallardo is still pretty quick, but why buy either over something like a new zr1/Z06/GTR/even R8? Status? Glad you take pride in buying a car that only looks more expensive(although when talking maintanence vs a 100,000 warranty I suppose it will cost much more). Congrats if you enjoy looking fast and acting flashy. When a c5 Z blows by you, all those watching you in awe will suddenly be laughing that a lowly old vette destroyed your ferrari.
My advice OP, try out a ctsv or even a lightly modded cl600/E63 Benz if you need a back seat. Honestly I could think of a plethora of better used lux/performance cars to own.
Of course, if a Mas is your absolute dream car, then it's all personal preference and what I said is a moot point lol.

I just liked the sound and look of the car, but not buying it yet was just curious to find out opinions
I love my c6 and if I sell it first choice is c7
I do like 911 as well
I have to test drive cars and see what I like
what are the other exciting cars to drive two door only, not to high maintenance?

I can describe it with single words:
Beautiful
Sexy
Rare
Italiano
Desirable
Money Pit
Weekend Only
Ok, I cheated on the last two, but it is well known these cars are horrendously expensive to maintain, so be prepared to treat it like an occasional treat only, and be prepared to lose a mint to depreciation. If you are ok with these two major items and have money to burn, go for it. The driving experience is said to be very nice, and the reaction of other people (especially hot young women) is very nice.
